"Staying true to Mr. Fleisher shows good characterization, so will I, staying true to the same guidelines. Hex is a unique character, kind of like me: a red-headed outlaw with a bad right eye. I have done some research about the old west and its culture and I want to show it to you in my original stories set in a truly gritty, violent west. Like Mr. Fleisher, adding excellent twists to my stories, I have more plans for Jonah Hex than simply producing comic books. Through movies, websites, video games and short web films, I would seriously like to help build the Jonah Hex Empire to where it deserves to be. I think this is what makes Jonah Hex different from many comics on the stands today".
